A new course for SAKA RAGIS Pflanzenzucht

Einbeck, June 26, 2007 - The two main shareholders of the SAKA RAGIS Group, Dr. Kartz von Kameke and KWS SAAT AG, have agreed that KWS will sell its stake in SAKA RAGIS to Dr. K. von Kameke effective July 1, 2007.

SAKA RAGIS’ business will be continued under the name SaKa. KWS will retain ties with SaKa through joint research projects. SaKa and its sales organization Solana intend to continue expanding their market activities in Germany and abroad.

As a result of this agreement, the new SaKa Group will be managed as an independent company by the next generation of the von Kameke family. The traditional company name RAGIS will remain with KWS SAAT AG.
