Eraton

  Highest Yielding HEAR ..... EVER!

NEW FOR 2011

  • Exceptional yields – beating ‘00’ controls
  • Outstanding oils and erucic acid contents
  • Excellent stem stiffness and resistance to lodging
  • Strong agronomic characters

Eraton is bred by LS Plant Breeding

Following on from recent hybrid introductions from KWS, Eraton takes HEAR yields to a higher level.

Very High Oils

Eraton has an exceptional oil yield.  At 48.3% in National List trials, no other variety comes near it.

Indeed, of the controls, the closest variety NK Bravour is 2% behind Eraton at 46.2%.

At 102% of controls, in National List trials its yield beats most current RL double-low controls including Flash and it is on par with the most widely grown hybrid, Excalibur.

When grown alongside other hybrid HEARs in commercial and KWS trials it stands head and shoulders above current market leaders.

As a result, with Eraton you can be confident of matching double-low rape yields as well as reaping the rewards of an added-value contract premium.

Sound Agronomics

Eraton combines excellent hybrid vigour, with a good, easily managed canopy.

In addition, it offers superb standing power and resistance to lodging; being rated 8 for both characters and standing just 6cm taller than leading HEAR variety Marcant.

With double-6 ratings for light leaf spot and stem canker, Eraton has good disease resistance ratings, but with its high yield potential it will respond well to fungicides.

It is also early maturing and early flowering providing an excellent entry for the following wheat.
