KWS Horizon

Excellent Fusarium

  • High hard milling
  • wheat
  • Excellent grain quality
  • Results show exceptionally high yields
  • in the North
  • Short, stiff straw
  • Excellent disease resistance package

KWS Horizon is a hard milling wheat, with good breadmaking quality, HFN and outstanding specific weight. Yielding about 1% above Einstein and Cordiale, it has especially high yields in the North. It has reasonably short and stiff straw, with a range of disease resistance scores excellent for eyespot, but only average for brown rust. This can be combated with the correct fungicide programme.
